ABOUT

Singer-Songwriter | Environmentalist | Cultural Storyteller

Born and raised on the sun-soaked shores of The Bahamas, Javan Hunt is a Bahamian artist known for his soulful vocals, vibrant creativity, and deep community roots. His music blends cultural influence, conscious storytelling, and contagious energy—most recently showcased in his 2025 Junkanoo-meets-EDM single, “MOVE” (feat. Apple Juice Kid).

Javan’s creative journey includes acclaimed environmental songs like “Put it in the Trash” and “The Mangrove Song,” which earned him recognition from the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund in 2024. He frequently collaborates with fellow Bahamian creatives and performs with the Junkanoo-Jazz fusion band Forces of Nature, recently lighting up stages at the Art Lucaya Festival on Grand Bahama Island and the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas in New Providence.

Whether working in the studio, performing live, mentoring youth, or advocating for environmental justice, Javan leads with purpose, authenticity, and a mission to MOVE people—in body, mind, and soul.
